Harry Potter Store in New York
If you’re a Harry Potter fan and you happen to be in New York, there’s one place you just have to check out.
Of course, there are other Potter-inspired spots across the country – I’ve written about the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, Florida here, and about the Warner Bros. Studio Tour here.
Harry Potter Store New York
An official two-storey Harry Potter shop on Broadway, Manhattan? A dream. Here you’ll find clothes from all the Hogwarts houses, wands of every character, the Deathly Hallows, Horcruxes, Death Eater merch, magical creatures and plants, broomsticks, and even home décor. Honestly, I think I spotted pretty much every single item from the movies – and yes, you can buy anything you like, depending on the depth of your wallet 😊

Naturally, the Harry Potter Store is decorated with film-inspired details – there’s a rotating eagle, a massive Basilisk in the basement, and plenty of Instagram-worthy corners.
I also recommend heading downstairs to the House of MinaLima section – this is where you’ll find products created by the actual graphic designers of the films. The souvenirs there are super stylish, including the famous Black family tree wallpaper. Plus, the shop itself is designed in a really fun and creative way.
Butterbeer

Did you think this little shop only had souvenirs? Nope! After paying at a cashier desk decorated with a giant Time-Turner, you can step into a super stylish dessert shop – yes, they even have the famous “Happee Birthdae Harry” cake and, of course, Butterbeer! Sadly, it’s non-alcoholic, but still absolutely worth a try.
It is a bit on the pricey side, but they serve it in these themed mugs with the Butterbeer logo. The best part? You actually get to keep the mug as a souvenir – so in the end, the price didn’t feel that bad after all.

A video review of the store can be viewed here.
